My monthly goals and visions for the upcoming Autumn months / Personal Growth

Autumn. The word that can either fill you with dread or desire. It's safe to say that the coziness of the nights drawing in, just isn't for everyone, and for some it may be unbearable. This time of year, however, in my opinion, is best used to rest, rejuvenate and reflect. And as far as the reflection side of it goes, this is it ; a plan of exactly how I want my coming months to be. 🍂

1. Improve and develop as a singer / songwriter, composing a few samples worthy of being published onto a platform such as Sound-cloud or YouTube. This involves overcoming a serious fear of not being good enough and creates an opportunity for people to judge, but above all, I'm scared of failing because it's a dream that I have held onto for so long. Maybe it's time to let go of this perfectionism and to really try!

2. Blog like there's no tomorrow, whilst excelling at work, socializing and finding the time for necessary self-care. When spelt out like that, it's no wonder us bloggers get so worn out and suffer from regular burn out. It's a juggling act, that even I'm still trying to work out, as is clearly shown by the lack of organisation and an upload schedule. Opps 😬 This Autumn is the time to improve.

3. Socialize more, instead of being couped up inside constantly, this seriously isn't good, and us Humans require this type of interaction to feel cherished and loved. Grab a Bonfire infused Hot Chocolate from Costa or a Pumpkin Spiced Latte (if that's more your scene) from Starbucks and go for a walk, OR Cozy up in a cinema with your BF or BFF. Anything will do, and I seriously need to take my own advice.

4. If all the above fails...I am, as well as you, worthy of taking a well deserved rest from whatever the trouble or frustration may be. Life often has a habit of throwing challenges our way, at the most peculiar times too, whereby sacrifices often have to be made. Whether this is our much needed time or energy, there is no point sending ourselves into further despair when there is no need to. Chill. Take it easy, and more importantly know that it is okay to do so.

Until next time, (by all accounts soon!),
